MADEMOISELLE MALINOVA IS JUST COMING!

The way was quite tricky before the performance “Mademoiselle Malinova is just coming!” could be finished. It led through much co-operation, such as with Katerina Houskova and Ondrej Cihlar, and across several variants of the story and approach. The last impulse was meeting the light designer Vladimir Burian, who took the decision not to use theatre lights. Light has an important role in the story. It becomes a partner, a prop, a toy and a symbol. Eventually there is a grotesque piece of hope and desire, whose most important topic is a fantasy which reaches beyond all borderlines, possibilities and walls. A fantasy which has the power to revive the long forgotten, trick loneliness and make the still and stiff move again. All this can be achieved in a children’s game, or in a naive, blind and yearning mind. Who is who? Who guides whom? Who acts whom? That will now depend only on you. When you have seen the show you will know how to become a revue star.
