Borrowing from all the great clown traditions, classical and contemporary, international master teacher, James Donlon, has developed a unigue method to mold the mind and body into an original dramatic experience. Exercises in the art of movement theatre and humor seen through the eyes of the neo-classical clown create individual style and help the artist transform the mundane into the absurd, surreal and controversial. Donlon\'s method has been taught in the leading drama conservatories throughout North America for over 3 decades.This is a very physical class. .
JAMES DONLON has performed his original solo work throughout North America and Europe since 1970. The New York Times has described his work as \"an extraordinary blend of skill and lunacy.\" Donlon has been film movement coach for Oscar-winner Kathy Bates, Benjamin Bratt, and Javier Bardem. Donlon has trained noted physical clown Bill Irwin. His theatre work for two actors, TRUCK DOG, was translated into Czech and toured Eastern Europe.
