YoutubeA project by the cultural fortnightly A2 which, in cooperation with the Transteatral initiative, every year since 2007 has been publishing contemporary short plays by Czech authors which last for the symbolical minute. The first-night reading of the Theatre Minutes 2009 will be held on the same day they are published in A2 magazine.
In the past, Pavel Kohout, Iva Klestilová, Daniela Fischerová, Jiří Kratochvil, Egon Tobiáš, Ivan Kraus or Arnošt Goldflam have written their minidramas for Theatre Minutes. The stage readings were held in the West Bohemian Theatre in Cheb, at the Writers’ Festival in Prague, at the International Festival of European Regions’ Theatre in Hradec Kralove or in the Svandovo Theatre in Prague.
