The performance is an installation of two hanging bodies acting in a quickly changing space and time. It is constructed using video and slide projectors and completed by vectroscopic pictures. The Garden is an installation on the border of physical theatre, visual arts and a multimedia project. The main theme is the comparison of Christian morals and the present conception of life in so-called civilized countries. The man and woman stand as symbols of contemporary society: dependent on technology and dominated by their own primary needs. The quickly innovating and changing technology represents the highest point in their horizon: the archetype of God, which they follow with fascination and fear. The development of the piece is based on the “process” of transformation from a sexual relationship to an androgynous one. The Garden arouses questions about the future, the sense of the changing roles of man and woman in society, questions about harmony and chaos.
