Prague-based Pasi Mäkelä and his Finnish version of Butoh dance meets the throaty growl of Lebanese double-bass specialist Raed Yassin in a short improvised performance the courtyard of the Alfred ve dvoře Theatre. This performance is part of the "Linka D" event for the International Day of Dance, coproduced by the PONEC Theatre, Alfred ve dvoře, Studio ALTA and the Vs. Interpretation Festival.

Pasi Mäkelä (b.1975) Finnish performer, musician and conceptual artist based in Prague, Czech Republic. Studied in Turku Arts Academy, Finland 1998-2002, and has a degree of theatre director and educator. Is a member of Finnish theatre research and performances groups Reality Research Center and Circus Maximus. Works actively with his own music/performance group Sabotanic Garden, experimental music group Federsel & Mäkelä and its own micro-label Meteorismo, and garage-gospel music group The Spermbankers. Mäkelä works also on solo material. Between 2013-2015 he has performed his physical performance solo Tonttu in Slovakia, Germany, Georgia, Finland, Sweden, Czech Rep., Austria and in U.S.A. He released his first solo music album in late 2014.

Raed Yassin (b.1979) An artist and musician, Yassin's work often originates from an examination of his personal narratives and their workings within a collective history, through the lens of consumer culture and mass production. He has exhibited and performed his work in numerous museums, festivals and venues across Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Japan,Yassin was awarded the Fidus Prize (2009), the Abraaj Capital Art Prize (2012), the AFAC grant for production (2010), the YATF grant for production (2008 & 2012) and the Cultural Resource grant for production (2008). Yassin is one of the organizers of IRTIJAL Festival, and has released several music albums and founded the production company Annihaya in 2009. He is also a founding member of "Atfal Ahdath" a Beirut based art collective. He currently lives and works in Beirut and represented by Kalfayan Galleries (Athens–Thessaloniki).
