“My own private picture” is an atmospheric multimedia performance about media images and our desires which explores the display of ‘sexuality’ in porn. It touches on the isme of how the omnipresent media images might effect intimate spheres of our lives and so interfere with the creation of our desires. We concentrate on emancipated female sexuality – blurring the personal experience with fiction by combining documentary elements with illusive scenes that to some extent work with TV media schemes. We wish “My own Private Picture” to be entertaining and challenging at the same time and possibly open discussion about a phenomenon very present in our society.

T.I.T.S. is an independent performance collective that creates atmospheric and sensual performances. They joined forces at the Norwegian Theatre Academy and started to work with the light, sound, architecture of the given space, physical and vocal presence of performers, aiming to make all of these components equally important.
