MUSICALITY IN THEATRE AND SCENIC ART IN MUSIC

The workshop will focus on the interpretation and compositional work with music as a material for theatre. How to discover and transform the legacy in the musicality of different cultures? How to proceed from the melody, rhythm, colour of the sound, accent and synchronization, to the search for the energy of modern dynamics in the holistic expression of the dancer, actor, or performer – the musicality and its perception being the main source of inspiration. Workshop led by Viliam Dočolomanský, the Winter of New Theatrical Realities Prize 2011 and Hana Varadzinová.
