The Alfred ve dvoře Theatre has been a supporter of A Different City Experience events since 2007.
This year we go back to our roots to offer a modest yet heartfelt celebration. We are working with our neighbours and artists to prepare a flea market, a clothes and books bazaar and homemade specialties from people's own kitchens.
At the afternoon's close we present a contemporary mime performance for the whole family by French JAMU academy graduate Florent Golfier and gallery opening of an exhibition by painter Eva Sakuma.
SCHEDULE:
2pm - 6pm: flea market, a clothes and books bazaar, activities for children...
3pm - concert of Vobezdud group
from 4pm: fairy tale screening and snack for children at small stage
6pm: UMBILICUS / Florent Golfier / 40 min. / free admission
A contemporary physical theatre and clown performance for the whole family about the hilarious troubles of a young enthusiast trying to make friends and remain true to his principles. But is this at all possible while battling against the hustle and bustle of our crazy lives? Creator and performer Florent Golfier, graduate of the JAMU academy in Brno, makes a valiant effort to take on the world.
8pm: openning of Eva Sakuma's painting exhibition Motionless + Kenya Satoh (shamisen) and Seizan Osako (shakuhachi)
