RENTING / MUSICA NOVA 2017

The Sonic Art concert MUSICA NOVA 2017 will be held on 8 th December at 7:30 p.m.

The program features pieces by authors, who received awards in the competition of 83
authors from 28 countries.

1. Fred Szymanski/USA - SCREE – 1 st place of studio production category
2. Hiromi Watanabe/Japan - ANAMNESE for flute and E – 1 st place of live E
category, N. Asakawa-fl.
3. Gilles Gobeil/France - Sous l´ecorce des pierres – promenade
4. James O´Callaghan/Ireland-Canada – XENO for a voice and E, Marta
Kloučková-voice
5. Roberta Normandeau/Canada – Tunnel Azur
6. Slavomír Hořínka/Czech Republic – Rány hořící/Shining Wounds

The event going to start with awarded pieces in the competition for the youngest children
(from 8 years of age this year!)
CZECH EAR – Jiří Petříček (13 years old), Jan Stejskal (12 years old), David Princ (11
years old), Jakub Svoboda (14 let years old) and Dan Smejkal (19 years old).

The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Czech Republic and the Prague City Hall.

The event takes place under the auspices of the Czech Music Council and cooperation with Arts
Institute and Czech Radio.
