Each house is a world of its own. Many sounds, smells and colours. Many different fates and interesting stories. There is, for instance, a woman with a cat, speaking a weird language and asking endless questions. This man up there is always doing some DIY. And what is that little girl down there laughing at so much? Each tenant wants to feel at home here and do whatever he likes. But the neighbours do not necessarily like this. And there we have a crucial problem.

What can happen if a house has had enough of all these arguments and misunderstandings? An unexpected situation offers the neighbours a chance to join forces and find a solution. A story of friendship and tolerance brings forth much fun and a good lesson at the end.

The STAGE CODE theatre group was established by Daniela Vorackova (CZ) and Philipp Schenker (CH) in 1999. Their performances are mostly non-verbal and work with elements of motion theatre, site specific and street theatre. Various international artists cooperate in their projects. The group has also performed in Germany, Austria, Yugoslavia, Holland, Poland, the Ukraine and the USA.
Supported by: Ministry of Culture, Czech Republic, Prague City Council, The English International School of Prague, Zivot umelce Foundation, SPREAD C.A., TISKAP s.r.o. and MOTUS – producers of the ALFREDVEDVOŘE Theatre
